Master Stylist, Color Specialist
at Avantgarde West

Allison has been working as a Licensed Cosmetologist at Avantgarde since 2005. She is the Kemon Color Coach for Avantgarde West. In October of 2009 Allison travelled to Italy where she attended the Kemon Color training school. She also specializes in haircutting, facials, pedicures, manicures and waxing, and has also received training with Shellac Nails.

Amy

Master Stylist, Nail Technician & Color Specialist
at Avantgarde East Paris Location

Amy graduated from Excel Academies of Cosmetology in 2003 and has been working at Avantgarde since December of 2007. Amy is the Kemon Color Coach for Avantgarde East Paris Location. In October, 2009 she travelled to Italy where she attended the Kemon Color training school. Amy has also received specialized training with Shellac Nails, Axxium Gel Nails and Glo Skin Care.

Becky

Master Stylist, Nail Technician & Color Specialist
at Avantgarde West

Becky has been with Avantgarde since January of 2003. She graduated as a licensed Cosmetologist from Booker Institute of Cosmetology in 2002. Becky is a Kemon Color Coach at Avantgarde West and has received specialized training in advanced cutting as well as with TIGI and Kemon Hair Color from Italy. In addition, she has also received special training with Shellac Nails, Axxium Nails and Creative Nails. Becky enjoys working with gel and natural nails as well as doing color services.

Brooke

Stylist
at Avantgarde East Paris Location

Brooke graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in December of 2010. She joined the Avantgarde team in April of 2011. Brooke is well versed in the Aveda Hair Care Line and has received training in Shellac Nails, Lox Hair Extensions and is Certified with Great Lengths Extensions. She specializes in haircuts, color services, and nails as well as facials, body waxing and Stress Reliever Treatments.

Elisa

Senior Stylist
at Avantgarde West

Elisa has been with Avantgarde since December of 2007. She graduated from Career Line Technical Center as a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2000. She has received specialized training with TIGI, Kemon Hair Color from Italy and specialized cutting classes. Elisa enjoys working with hair color, doing updo’s and specialized haircuts.

Kaitlyn

Stylist
at Avantgarde West and East Paris Locations

Kaitlyn has been with Avantgarde since April of 2009. She graduated from Excell Academy of Cosmetology as a licensed cosmetologist in 2006. Kaitlyn enjoys working will all hair types and regularly attends continuing education courses and events to keep up with the latest techniques, styles and trends. She has received specialized training for feather extensions.

Katie

Stylist
at Avantgarde West

Katie has been with Avantgarde since December of 2007. She graduated from Excel Cosmetology School as a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006 and has received specialized training for Feather Extensions, Bedhead, Kemon Hair Color from Italy and TNG World Wide. Katie enjoys working with hair color and specializes in cutting curly or thin hair.

Kristen

Administrative Assistant – Manager
At Avantgarde East Paris Location

Kristen has been with Avantgarde since July of 2010. She graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute as a licensed cosmetologist in November of 2009. She brings to our team several years of excellent customer service experience. Kristen’s knowledge and experience in the salon and spa industry enables her to be a valuable resource when assisting our clients.

Kylee

Stylist
at Avantgarde West

Kylee has been with Avantgarde since December of 2010. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007 and has received specialized training with Kemon Hair Color from Italy and Shellac Nails. Kylee enjoys working with all hair types and specializes in trendy and edgy hair cuts and color techniques!

Lisa

Master Stylist, Nail Technician & Kemon Color Coach
at Avantgarde West and East Paris Locations

Lisa graduated from Chic University of Cosmetology in 2001 and has been with Avantgarde since December of 2007. Lisa is a Certified Kemon Color Coach and has received specialized training in advanced cutting and color techniques. In addition, she has also received specialized training with Shellac Nails, OPI Gel Nails and Glo Minerals Makeup. Lisa has extensive experience with updo’s, formal hair styles and professional level makeup application for all special events.

Lori

Stylist
at Avantgarde East Paris Location

Lori graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in December of 2010 and received her Instructors Certification in March of 2011. Lori joined the Avantgarde team in April of 2011. In addition to offering haircuts, color, manicures, pedicures and Shellac Nails, she also specializes in facials, body waxing and Stress Reliever Treatments. Prior to working at Avantgarde Lori was an owner of Curves Exercise Facility. Lori says she enjoys helping women feel beautiful, both inside and out.

Maggie

Receptionist
at Avantgarde East Paris Location
Maggie joined the Avantgarde team in August of 2011. She graduated from Northview High School in 2009 and is a student at Sanford-Brown College where she is continuing her education.

Maria

Master Stylist
at Avantgarde West

Maria graduated as a licensed Cosmetologist in 2003 and joined the team at Avantgarde in April of 2011. She is a licensed esthetician and has also received training with Kemon Hair Color, Shellac Nails and Keratin Brazilian Smoothing. Maria enjoys attending continue education to stay up to date on the latest trends, styles and color techniques. She specializes in short cuts, razor cuts and the Ombre Effect and says she most enjoys the creative side of her job.

Marianne

Licensed Esthetician and Professional Makeup Artist
at Avantgarde East Paris Location

Marianne has been with Avantgarde since July of 2011. She graduated of from The French Academy and went on to become the Michigan Educator for Spa Girl. Marianne specializes in the Spa Girl PowerDerm™ Kinetic Dermabrasion as well as various peels. Her specialty enables her to assist clients with skin issues such as rosacea, acne, broken capillaries, discoloration, and more. In addition, Marianne works extensively as a regional makeup artist with major companies such as Estee Lauder, Dior, and Clairins.

Sarah

Marketing Coordinator

Sarah graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2003 with a degree in Public Administration and has been with Avantgarde since June, 2008. Before coming to Avantgarde she worked for Kent ISD as the Marketing Project Manager and for a national consulting firm as the Director of Marketing. Currently, Sarah is attending Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona where she is pursuing continued education in Graphic Design.
