Rachel joined the Avantgarde team in June of 2011. She graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute in April of 2011. Rachel enjoys working with a variety of clients offering trendy haircuts, color, nails and facials.

Marianne has been with Avantgarde since July of 2011. She graduated of from The French Academy and went on to become the Michigan Educator for Spa Girl. Marianne specializes in the Spa Girl PowerDerm™ Kinetic Dermabrasion as well as various peels. Her specialty enables her to assist clients with skin issues such as rosacea, acne, broken capillaries, discoloration, and more. In addition, Marianne works extensively as a regional makeup artist with major companies such as Estee Lauder, Dior, and Clairins.

Maria graduated as a licensed Cosmetologist in 2003 and joined the team at Avantgarde in April of 2011. She is a licensed esthetician and has also received training with Kemon Hair Color, Shellac Nails and Keratin Brazilian Smoothing. Maria enjoys attending continue education to stay up to date on the latest trends, styles and color techniques. She specializes in short cuts, razor cuts and the Ombre Effect and says she most enjoys the creative side of her job.

Brooke graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in December of 2010. She joined the Avantgarde team in April of 2011. Brooke is well versed in the Aveda Hair Care Line and has received training in Shellac Nails and Lox Hair Extensions. She specializes in haircuts, color services, hair extensions, nails and facials.

Dana graduated with honors from Everest Institute as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2008. She joined Avantgarde in April of 2011. Dana specializes in a wide range of techniques including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Pre-natal, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Revitalizer and Melt Down. Her massage techniques offer relief related to Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sciatic Nerve, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, TMJD, Arthritis and Lymphatic Drainage. Dana also offers seaweed wraps and body polishes.

Lori graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in December of 2010 and received her Instructors Certification in March of 2011. Lori joined the Avantgarde team in April of 2011. She specializes in haircuts, color, manicures, pedicures and Shellac Nails. Prior to working at Avantgarde Lori was an owner of Curves Exercise Facility. Lori says she enjoys helping women feel beautiful, both inside and out.

Kylee has been with Avantgarde since December of 2010. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007 and has received specialized training with Kemon Hair Color from Italy and Shellac Nails. Kylee enjoys working with all hair types and specializes in trendy and edgy hair cuts and color techniques!

Kristen has been with Avantgarde since July of 2010. She graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute as a licensed cosmetologist in November of 2009. She brings to our team several years of excellent customer service experience. Kristen’s knowledge and experience in the salon and spa industry enables her to be a valuable resource when assisting our clients.

Jessica has been with Avantgarde since August of 2009. She graduated from Chic University of Cosmetology as a licensed cosmetologist in 2000. Jessica has received specialized training with Glo Minerals Makeup, Kemon Hair Color from Italy as well as cutting classes to learn the latest trends and styles. She enjoys specializing in hair color and working with curly hair.
